EUCLASS Recognised as an Innovative and Promising Practice by UNESCO-UNEVOC
The EUCLASS Alliance has reached a notable milestone with the official publication of our work in the UNESCO-UNEVOC "Innovative and Promising Practices in TVET" database.
This inclusion is as international recognition of the project’s methodology and its contribution to vocational education.
The recognition identifies our project as a practical model for VET, specifically regarding EU citizenship education and transnational cooperation. For our team, this validates the effort to make citizenship education a more accessible and relevant component of the VET curriculum across Europe.
By utilizing resources specifically tailored to the vocational context, we are on track to reach approximately 600 learners during the pilot phase, suggesting a clear path for future scalability within European institutions.
Joining the UNESCO-UNEVOC database is an opportunity to reflect on our progress as a prompt to further our work in innovation and inclusion. It reinforces the objective of providing VET learners with a standard of education that supports informed and active participation in society. As the project moves forward, our focus remains on integrating democratic values and critical thinking into the core of vocational training.
This result is the outcome of a collaborative effort across our entire partnership network. We really appreciate the support provided by UNESCO-UNEVOC and Sarah Elson-Rogers during the submission process, as well as the consistent contributions from our partner organizations in realizing the EUCLASS vision.
